Webber's Carpet Terms of Trade

WARRANTIES & GUARANTEES
There are two main warranties - one for our workmanship and one for the carpet itself.

You need to refer to the Manufacturer's website for their carpet warranty.

‘’Domestically” we offer a 5 Year guarantee on all workmanship and Commercial jobs we offer a 1 Year workmanship guarantee.

Please choose carefully, we do not refund, credit or exchange on incorrect or change of mind purchase.

Should you cancel your order, please be aware you may lose your deposit plus any additional costs.

DEPOSIT - A 50% deposit of the materials is required to confirm order.

BALANCE - All materials are to be paid in full prior to cutting or release of goods.

PAYMENT : We accept CASH , VISA , MASTERCARD, DIRECT DEPOSIT AND PAYID as a valid form of payment.
Labour costs are to be paid to the installer on the day of installation. (No Credit Cards accepted by the installers. Cash , cheque or direct transfer is acceptable).

MATERIALS- If materials are to be held by Webbers for more than 1 month; all materials shall be paid for in full & will not be held any longer than 3 months.

QUOTATION  - Quatations are valid for 7 days from date of quotation.

SHADING / PERMANENT PILE REVERSAL.  Cut pile carpets are subject to shading and this is not a manufacturing fault. Please see sales staff or manufacturers web site for more information.

DOOR HEIGHTS - The cutting of doors is the customers responsibility. If you are unsure of the heights required, please ask us for the "Finished Floor Height".

FLOORS - If floor cannot be sighted prior to laying, an additional charge will be made for any floor preparation. We are not responsible for the suitability of any sub-floors.

TAKE-UP - If a charge has not been made for the lifting of your old floor coverings it will be necessary for it be lifted before the layers arrive, or an additional charge will be made by the layer.

FURNITURE - If a charge has not been made for the removal of your furniture it will be necessary for the furniture to be moved from the affected areas or an additional charge will be made by the layer. If a removal charge has been allowed all small items (e.g. books, c.d's, glassware, clothing and all electrical goods) must be moved by client. Beds to be dismantled by client.

PARKING- On Site Parking is to be made available for the installers on the day of installation. If none is made available, extra charges may be applied by the installers.

SMOKE ALARMS - It is the responsibility of the Client/Owner to make sure all affected smoke alarms are isolated prior to the installation of your new floorcoverings.
